The following requirements are established for basic membership with the Iranian Search and Rescue Society.
General membership:
Minimum of 18 years of age
All applicants must provide a clear background check record from police department.
If applying for positions in technical rescue team, applicant must provide;
A general health examination certificate from approved medical clinics.
All applicants must be in position of valid CPR , first aid certificate and or participate in an approved emergency first aid programs within 90 days of their membership with IRANSAR.
All applications are subject to IRANSAR internal review and investigations and are subject to disqualification without given any notices.
All new volunteer members are subject to 12 months of probation and are subject to dismissal from IRANSAR organization during this period.
Disqualified or discharged applicants from other search and rescue agencies may not qualify for membership with IRANSAR however; the IRANSAR membership committee may consider accepting applicants on case by case for new membership.
All applicants must participate in IRANSAR minimum SAR trainings and maintain a good attendance in membership meetings, trainings and or participation during SAR missions.
Applicants who have pervious backgrounds in Emergency medical, Fire services, Rescue service, IRCS, and other emergency responder trainings may use their experiences as part of their qualifications during membership trial period and are generally given first priority in membership application process.
Membership dues are required by all applicants and are paid once a year.
Dues are non refundable and non transferable to third party.
Search and rescue groups, NGOs and other relief organizations membership requirements:
All domestic rescue relief organizations and NGOs wishing to become member with IRANSAR must submit an official request with the following information;

Years in operation
Type of operation, ie rescue, relief services, fire services, emergency medical , educational , etc.
Membership dues are required and paid once a year.
Corporate and commercial entities membership requirements:
All corporate and commercial entities wishing to become member with IRANSAR must submit the following information;

Type of business
Membership dues are required and paid once a year.
International membership:
Applicants interested to participate in IRANSAR international membership programs are subject to separate requirements and generally may not participate in IRANSAR search and rescue missions unless prior arrangements have been established.
International members do not have the privileges to participate in IRANSAR's general meeting and are disqualified from any voting.
Membership dues are required and paid once a year.
Students:
Students may apply for membership and may qualify for minimum attendance exemption with prior arrangement and approval from IRANSAR membership committee.
